Process
I work by setting and achieving specific business objectives, whether that’s revenue growth, brand authority, AEO/SEO performance, or audience development. Each retainer begins with a scoping conversation to define the work, after which we choose the package that fits.
Fractional Content & Brand Leadership
What’s distinctive about this practice: I bring 20+ years of editorial leadership combined with AI-native and vibe-coded internal tooling, meaning I can build the systems that scale a content operation, not just direct one.
Retainer engagements start at $5,000/month. Two-month minimum commitment.
- Director of Brand & Content—$10,000/month Long-term content and brand strategy. Video and podcast conception with executive oversight of execution. Ongoing AEO and SEO audit and analysis. Blog strategy and programming. Editorial systems design and management. Sourcing and managing writers, editors, and creative freelancers. Brand systems and rebrand leadership. AI-augmented editorial workflows and custom internal tooling built with AI coding platforms. (In order to maintain quality and a commitment to the work I provide my clients, I can only do one of these engagements a month if any other engagements are active.)
- Senior Content Strategist—$7,000/month Long-term content strategy. Ongoing AEO and SEO audit and analysis. Blog strategy and programming. Editorial systems design and management. Sourcing and managing writers and editors. AI-augmented editorial workflows. Strategic guidance on a single secondary channel (video or podcast).
- Content Advisor—$5,000/month Monthly strategy sessions, editorial review, and senior judgment on content operations. Best for teams with execution capacity in place who need senior strategic direction rather than hands-on management.
The only service not covered by the monthly retainer is video production and post-production. See below for details.
Project Engagements
For organizations not ready for an ongoing retainer, I offer fixed-scope projects:
- AEO / LLM Visibility Audit—$5,000 30-day turnaround. Full audit of how your brand appears in LLM-driven search, with a prioritized action plan.
- Content Strategy Intensive—$7,500 Six-week engagement. End-to-end content strategy development with deliverables ready to execute against.
- Brand & Editorial Workshop—$3,500 Half-day session. Workshop format for leadership teams refining brand voice, editorial direction, or content positioning.
Writing Services
Specialized writing engagements for founders and executives who need senior editorial judgment on their highest-stakes content.
Executive Ghostwriting: Starting at $3,000/month
Voice development, interview-based content capture, and ghostwritten LinkedIn posts (8 per month) plus one long-form piece per quarter. Best for founders, executives, and senior operators building a public profile.
Signature Essay or Op-Ed: $2,500 per piece
One ghostwritten long-form piece (1,500–2,500 words), positioned for industry publication or owned channel placement. Includes two rounds of strategic revision.
Founder Narrative Development: $5,000 per engagement
A four-week engagement to develop and document your founder narrative, with deliverables tailored to your needs: pitch deck narrative, keynote script, press boilerplate, About page, and recruiting story.
Video production services
Due to the additional resources, services, and expertise required for video production and post-production, these services are billed separately from your monthly retainer. Rates quoted below are all-inclusive (labor, equipment rental, music licensing, etc.).
Brand Documentary & Customer Story Programs
Executive producer engagements, scoped per program. Base assignments include concept ideation, project management, scriptwriting, and agency selection and management. Starting at $15,000 per project, or 10–15% of total production budget for larger programs.
Video Production for Retainer Clients
Pre-production work—scriptwriting, pre-production meetings, shot lists, briefs, and shoot prep—is included in your monthly retainer hours (where applicable). Production days and post-production (editing, color grading, VFX, sound design) are scoped and billed separately, starting at $1,600 per day.
Podcast Production
I offer a full suite of podcast services:
- Producing: research, guest correspondence, concept development, feed setup and distribution.
- Writing: from simple interview-show intros to fully scripted narrative audio documentaries in the This American Life tradition.
- Post-production: editing, audio sweetening, sound design.
Pricing is scoped based on the engagement. Starting at $1,500/month for limited-scope production support, up to $6,000+/month for full-service production.
